A SECOND unit at Bury's £1 million Bracken Trade Park has been let.
The building on the Dumers Lane site has been taken on a six-year lease by Chint Europe (UK) Ltd at the asking rental of £25,900 per annum.
Chint specialise in the manufacturing and distribution of electrical components.
The industrial development is located on the former Bibby Baron site, located off the A56 Manchester road, and is close to junction 17 of the M60. It comprises six units ranging in size from 3,400sq ft to 6,000 sq ft.
Neil Clark of developers, Bracken comments: "Our aim has been to develop flexible industrial accommodation in a location that is both accessible and prominent.
"We are delighted with the level of interest generated prior to practical competition. And with joint agents NAI fuller Peiser and Eddisons currently in discussions with several other companies interested in leasing the remaining units, we hope to announce further lettings very shortly."
The remaining four units are available at £4.95 per sq ft on a leasehold basis of a minimum length of three years.
