WALSHAW appear to have saved their best form for the final few games of the Bolton Association season.
At the weekend they continued with two comprehensive victories over Atherton and Astley & Tyldesley.
On Saturday, at Atherton, the home side ended their innings on 146 for 9 with Rob Faulkner taking three wickets and professional Jonathan Fielding six.
The two then led Walshaw home by eight wickets with Fielding scoring an unbeaten 79 and Faulkner 51 not out.
That knock left the paid man only three short of 100 Association wickets for the season, a feat he quickly achieved a day later against Astley & Tyldesley.
Walshaw batted first and all the batsmen were in the runs, building up an impressive 247 for 6 from their 48 overs.
Fielding was soon among the wickets to achieve his 100 target and finished the match with four for 12 from 14.1 overs, supported by Liam Riley who took four for 14 off 8 overs as A & T were bowled out for 50.
