PEOPLE are being asked to share their memories of Colne's Ballgrove Park.
Friends of Ballgrove helps manage the park, which recently became a local nature reserve, and is documenting the history of the site for boards, leaflets, and exhibitions.
Vicky Wilkins, of the North West Community Pond Project, said: "We want you to dig deep into your memories, and your cupboards, to rediscover any information relevant to the group.
"Historical information about the site is very patchy and the group is looking for any information, such as odd facts, old photographs and press cuttings.
"It doesn't matter how small the information is, it would all help build a bigger historical picture of the site."
Friends of Ballgrove Park will meet at the Cotton Tree Pub, next to the park, on September 14, at 7pm.
Anyone who can help with the research is asked to contact 01942 614013.
