FURIOUS residents battling plans to erect a 60ft mobile phone mast at St Ives Business Park in Blackburn claim they have not been consulted.
They say many households were not told of the plan and others received information when it was too late to object.
Hairdresser Martin Baybutt, 57, of Martin's hairdressers, Blackburn Road, said: "Some neighbours got a note through their doors but I didn't find out until after the deadline to respond.
"The council says we have been consulted but we haven't. I saw the planning notice stuck on a lamp post but it was behind a bus shelter near the industrial estate entrance where nobody could see it."
Blackburn with Darwen Council says businesses on the industrial estate and people in surrounding homes were notified and two notices were displayed at the entrance to the park and in Accrington Road.
