LEIGH RMI U10s were unlucky to come out with a defeat in their opening game of the season in the Bolton & Bury District Mini Soccer League against newly promoted Eagley Wanderers.
The first half saw RMI play some excellent football but against the run of play, it was the away side that took the lead after 15 minutes.
RMI continued to pass the ball well and deservedly gained an equaliser five minutes later when an excellent cross from man of the match Morris came back off the post for Wilkinson to poke home. Within minutes Eagley went ahead again.
The second half saw RMI completely dominate. Substitute Elliot Beaver played particularly well in midfield, but Eagley team withstood all Leigh's efforts to equalise.
