ON behalf of Bury's Conservative councillors, I would like to wholeheartedly congratulate Bury Market traders for their great victory and well-orchestrated campaign to save the market from threatened relocation.
Your fierce determination -- coupled with "people power" -- brought about your well-deserved success. Well done; your strong stance is to be admired.
Let's hope that "people power' can now achieve the same result to secure the future of the special care baby unit, at Fairfield General Hospital.
