A PILOT fun day, the Family Matters Roadshow, will be launched in Rossendale on Thursday.
Organised by Rossendale Family Forum, it will offer free advice, information and activities for anyone needing help with family life - from education to benefits and family health.
The roadshow is aimed at parents and their children, bringing together 30 different groups, services and advisers under one roof.
The event will take over Haslingden Community Link, in Bury Road, between 1pm and 6.30pm, with exhibition stands, demonstrations and private drop-in advice sessions.
Interpreters and Asian link workers will also be on hand to give guidance on subjects such as family law, street safety, mental health, bullying, sports and recreation, childcare, communication, the museum service and internet safety.
Alyson Cadd, the event organiser, said: "We wanted to create an opportunity for lots of experts and service to come right to Rossendale parents' doorstep.
"There will be loads of information and free advice available all day."
The day will also include a free prize draw and for more information call Alyson on 01706 260978.
