Some people may have got overawed appearing in their first big film alongside the likes of Om Puri and Sophie Dahl.
But Accrington's Nadeem Ahmed just took it in his stride.
The 29-year-old is one of the highlights of the film The King of Bollywood which premiered across the country on September 24.
Nadeem spent two weeks in London filming The King of Bollywood after winning the part during a two-day casting session.
It's been a long and arduous road for Nadeem who has appeared in a variety of local fashion shows over the years but it seems his determination to succeed won through.
He said, "I've always been intrigued by Bollywood films and when the opportunity came up it was something I wanted to do.
"It was amazing. I am no dancer but I had to do some Bollywood dancing and I gave it my all."
"The costumes were a bit outrageous but it was all good fun."
In the movie, which is directed by Piyush Jha, Om Puri plays Karan Kumar a fading Bollywood star who still thinks he's got the charisma and looks to pull it off years after his debut on the big screen.
But the problem is he's nothing more than a shadow of himself - well past his sell by date.
Nadeem plays a spoilt son, Priyesh, whose father is prepared to do almost anything for him and that includes buying him a part in a Bollywood film.
The film is in English in the mould of East is East and the Guru.
He said, "The filming took two weeks and was really intense. There were hundreds of people on the set.
"We had people that have trained some of the best Bollywood actors and it was brilliant to work alongside established actors like Om Puri and Yusuf Sultan, who plays my father."
"Om Puri is a true professional but also an easy going person."
"Sophie Dahl, well she was just amazing."
Nadeem, who has just returned from a modelling assignment in Dubai, said his first taste of Bollywood has left him keen to make more films.
He said, "Indian films are really artistic and like a kaleidoscope. I didn't appreciate how talented these people are until I did this."
Nadeem is also hoping to make more TV programmes in the future.
"The more I do, the more I experience. My ambition is to make a documentary about Egypt. I have modelled out there and loved it."
