LEYTON Orient manager Martin Ling was far from happy with his side's display against Bury on Saturday.
But, refreshingly, he complimented the Shakers and reckoned they were well worth their point from the 1-1 draw.
"The second half was nowhere near the Leyton Orient of recent weeks," he said.
"And in the first half we did okay without reaching any great heights.
"I said before the game that we'd have to make things happen, not expect it, we only got into the game in the last five minutes.
"We allowed Bury to attack because our play wasn't as good as it should have been.
"I said Bury would be hard working but what they had, which other teams that have come here haven't got, is a front two Nugent and Newby who are both good players and ask you questions with their pace.
"They also had a solid back three and I can't remember our wingers having a telling part in the game, we were only at our best when Michael Simpson was cutting them up through the middle.
"We didn't finish them off and they full deserved the draw - it would have been harsh on them had they not got a point."
