WALVERDEN Park needs more people to help decide its future.
The Friends Group has lots of ideas for the park and will hold an open meeting on October 18.
So far it has planted bulbs with therapeutic gardening group Greenspace and got schools to help Cloverhill Residents' Action Group clean the river.
Now they aim to get funding to support new ideas, such as fencing off the park.
Fred Stewart, Pendle Council's parks outreach officer, said: "We want to bring back a sense of ownership and make it a great place for the community to enjoy."
Guest speaker at the meeting - at St John Southworth Social Club, Vaughan Street, in Nelson, from 7.30pm - will be Rosemary Pritchard from Lancashire County Council on how to get funding for the Friends' projects.
