A 51-YEAR-OLD nurse from Nelson, charged with murdering three elderly patients, was due to appear in court on Tuesday.
Ann Grigg-Booth, of Henry Street, was first arrested in March last year by police investigating the death of a 96-year-old woman at Airedale General Hospital, near Keighley.
Police say the charges followed a lengthy investigation into the deaths of three women, aged 96, 75, and 67 at the hospital between 2001 and 2003.
The three are all from the Yorkshire area, police said.
Grigg-Booth is also accused of the attempted murder of a 42-year-old man and 13 charges of administering noxious substances to other patients.
She was due to appear before Bingley Magistrates' Court today.
Three other people from the West Yorkshire area were arrested earlier this year, two women both aged 52 and one man aged 56. They are on police bail.
