PUPILS at Darwen Vale High enjoyed a Spanish summer school so much, they are coming back for weekly lessons after school.
The 'Able, Gifted and Talented Summer School' with a Spanish theme was held during the summer holidays when pupils received intensive language tuition each morning.
In the afternoons they experienced a flavour of the country's culture which included flamenco dancing, Spanish cookery, art and an investigation of the leisure and tourism industry in Spain.
Students have been taught through active lessons using video and audio technology, use of e-Learning and multi media packages.
Staff have now launched new weekly lessons between 4 and 5pm.
