WILDLIFE on the doorstep of Lancaster and Morecambe is to come under the spotlight at a special conservation evening next Tuesday, October 19.
Nature lovers can find out more as local groups gather for a Wildlife Open Evening at Lancaster Town Hall.
Advice will be available on how to get funding for green projects, and RSPB staff from Leighton Moss will talk about the booming bitterns and how to become a conservation volunteer.
Robin Horner, chair of the local Wildlife Forum, says: "This is a great opportunity to find out more about wildlife, share information and get involved."
The event starts at 7.30pm. Further details are from Joy Grayson on 01524-582061.
