A TRIBUTE charity show will be repeated next year thanks to public demand.
Wigan and Leigh Hospice's Stars In Their Eyes, which featured some of the country's top artists, was a sell out success and raised in the region of £2,500.
Hospice Chief Executive, Stuart Liptrot, said; "A massive thank you must go to the six who gave their services free - Paul Sutton (Ronan Keating), Sally Moore (Madonna), Andy McGowan (Robbie Williams), Barry Steele (Roy Orbison), Mikki Jay (Michael Jackson) and Milli Munroe (Tina Turner). They're simply the best."
"We have been inundated with requests for a repeat show. We must pay special thanks to Wigan born Paul (Ronan Keating) who not only conceived the event, but arranged for the other stars to also give their time and exceptional talents without charge.
"The Hospice plan to repeat the event next year if they can find a big enough venue!"
Andy McGowan said: "Oh what a night, we all had a fabulous time. It is rare that so many of the country's top tribute acts share the same stage.
"Thanks to the people of Wigan and Leigh who made it special for us. We will all be delighted to help the hospice again if they want us."
