I AM writing to express my sympathy with and understanding of the predicament facing the staff at Queen's Park High School.
The challenges they have faced in recent years can only be guessed at by those not involved in state education.
A simple solution suggests itself to me and are more considerate than asking demoralised staff to apply for their own jobs. The solution lies within the borough and hence will save a fortune on expensive job adverts.
The main criteria for success appears to be GCSE results and as each August rolls around the best teachers in the borough seem to be found at QEGS and Westholme.
They should therefore be drafted in en-block to show the Queen's Park staff how to do it.
In no time at all a queue of eager parents will stretch to Intack.
Any takes Councillor Hollings? Mr Straw? But then whatever happened to radical socialism?
A supportive state school colleague.
