PEOPLE in Prestwich are to have their say on how to improve the area.
Prestwich Area Board is currently working on a new community plan for 2005 to 2008 and would like comments from local groups and members of the public.
A household survey conducted last year revealed that the top five issues relating to Prestwich were:
too much crime
traffic congestion
poor condition of roads and pavements
lack of facilities/activities for young people
untidy streets
The area board would welcome suggested improvements that would address the issues and any comments will be fed into the new community plan.
For more information about the community plan or area board, contact area co-ordinator, Carran O'Grady on 0161 253 7604.
