DRAWING pensions from ATMs loads you with the maximum number of £20 notes it can get away with.
Shop workers get tetchy at being overwhelmed by the number of £20 notes being proffered by pensioners or small purchases.
Pensioners are embarrassed at having to present the £20 note.
My bank ducked the issue and referred me to the branch who will change ATM £20 notes if requested.
Can we not just have machines that pay out in £10 notes only?
