I RECEIVED a car parking fine notice at Clitheroe Railway View CP Council Offices car park - because I left my ticket in the back window, not the front window.

I think it may be a good idea to warn people of this as it appears that someone may have instructed the attendants to seek out such breaches.

I am particularly annoyed that this matter could not be sorted out there and then at the council offices. A similar situation happened to me in Skipton and that was sorted out at the council offices.
