HINDSFORD lost 6-3 after extra time in the Murray Shield away at Elton Vale.
Hindsford took the lead when Dan Toone headed home a Tony Brown corner and Neil Critchley made it two when he slipped the last defender and then rounded the keeper. Elton Vale got back in the game just before half time with a volley from a free kick.
The game changed when Hindsford had a player sent off at the beginning of the second and Elton Vale pressed constantly for the equaliser.The pressure brought a dubious penalty decision and the equaliser.
Elton Vale got on top in extra time and took a three goal lead before Dave
Fashou replied from the penalty spot after he was pulled back in the
area. Elton Vale got a sixth when they broke away in the final minute of the
game.
On Saturday the first team are home to Hollinwood and the 2nd are away at Hollinwood. Kick off's 2.30pm.
