A WOMAN was taken to hospital with burns after an explosion in a mobile food stall parked in Burnley town centre.
The unnamed woman was working in the stall which sells jacket potatoes when a minor gas explosion happened. Police, ambulance and fire crews were called to the scene in St James's Street at 11.15am on Saturday.
The woman was taken to Burnley General Hospital with minor burns to her hands, face and hair.
