WALKING your way to fitness has never been easier, thanks to a new series of relaxing treks across Bury parks.
Organised by Bury Sports Development unit and the park rangers, the afternoon walks are designed for anybody, of any age, wanting to improve their general fitness.
The walks will last for a maximum of 30 minutes and the first takes place on November 3, at Towns Meadow Park in Tottington.
Future walks will be on December 15, at Nuttall Park in Ramsbottom; January 12, at Openshaw Park in Rochdale Road; and February 23, at Clarence Park in Walmersley. All walks will begin at 1.30pm.
