TWO highly acclaimed musicians will perform Schubert's great song cycle in The Great Hall at Lancaster University next Thursday (October 28).
The visit of tenor Mark Padmore and pianist Maggie Cole is part of the Lancaster International Concert Series.
Die Schne Mllerin is an exquisite story of spring and summer, of a shy young miller's love, of the fickleness of the 'fair maid of the mill' and of a journey from joy through anger and jealousy to despair.
Mark Padmore is described as 'the finest, most musical British tenor around today'. Perfectly teamed with Maggie Cole, they bring to life 20 songs from 7.30pm - and also team up for a special Meet the Artist session from 6.45pm to 7.05pm
