BURY defender Matt Barrass has extended his short-term contract at Gigg Lane by another three months.
Barrass, aged 24, signed a short-term deal in the summer after battling back from a series of injuries.
The Bury-born full-back's contract was due to expire on Monday, but the extension will run until after Christmas.
Barrass has been with the Shakers since 1995, but has only made just over 70 appearances for the first team.
He has twice battled back from career threatening cruciate knee ligament injuries.
TEENAGE striker Daniel Douglas-Pringle has left the Shakers by mutual consent.
The former Manchester City junior's contract had been due to expire at Christmas. He did not make an appearance for Bury's first team.
