THE 2004 season has been an eventful one, and at the annual general meeting in January 2005 survival tactics will have to be discussed.
It will be decided whether competitions will be held on Friday evenings and also on the introduction of lady and junior bowlers.
Openshaw Park won the Friday night MIXED Pairs with Radcliffe runners-up, while in the Jim Collen Pairs competition, Carol and Lee Bleakley were the winners.
The Evans Cup competition has been played since 1922 and, in its 82-year history, has never been won two years running.
Graham Keating of Whitefield Park has now done just that and earned a special award. Bury were the Greater Manchester County Parks' competition winners, while the Jones Cup was won by Ian Turrell, with Karl Selby runner-up.
