AROUND 150 youngsters were in the fast lane at the annual Radcliffe Scouts swimming gala.
A total of 45 races were held at Radcliffe Pool on Saturday night where the 7/17th Wesley Methodist group came out as the overall winners. Runners-up were the 14th Ainsworth Parish, with the 3rd St Philips finishing in third place.
In the Beaver sec tion, the 14th Ainsworth Parish pack emerged victorious, followed by the 7/17th Wesley Methodists in second place, and the 3rd St Philips again in third spot.
District Commissioner June Ascroft, who organised the event, said: It was very well attended, with the number of competitors around 150, which was a lot more than in previous years.
