A RADCLIFFE nursery has served up a bumper harvest to help out the community.
As part of the curriculum at Radcliffe Hall Kindergarten, the youngsters have been looking at foods and cultures from around the world. They also spent time talking about sharing and helping others and decided to make up a hamper for harvest.
The package, filled with tins, bottles and cartons, will be donated to Bury Hospice, which is based on Dumers Lane.
Alison Evans, deputy officer at the centre, said: "We thought it might be a nice idea to put the valuable lessons the children had learnt into practice. The staff, children and parents came together and collected and put together a hamper for the hospice."
