I'VE found a solution to traffic calming. There's no need for the ridiculous humps like those in Walmesley Road and Windermere Road.

All that councils have to do is rip up the tarmac and reveal the old cobbles. They certainly slow vehicles down.

Atherton has had the answer all the time -- in the old streets which were left unmodernised. Not only do they look good but if drivers have any sense they are forced to slow down to a crawl. And I love them.
