THE pensions crisis has struck home with the government who will have to decide what can be done to stop a timebomb.
Apparently we should be saving more for our old age, but what's the point?
Forward thinking employees who decided to forego holidays, flash cars and nights on the town to save for a happier retirement are penalised.
Those who enjoyed their money, living life to the full and put nothing away for the future are now regarded as needy and receive all the benefits going.
Those who saved get no help and end up worse off because they have to pay their living expenses themselves.
