PARENTS who are concerned about the controversial MMR injection can have their child immunised with single jabs at a Manchester clinic.
The Childrens Immunisation Centre, in St John Street, offers the alternatives for measles, mumps and rubella, and Fiona Dickson, the centre's director, is warning parents that a non-vaccinated child is at higher risk - especially as they go back to school.
She said: "Without these vaccines there is a chance of an outbreak so we urge parents to arrange injections as soon as the child is 12 months old for their own peace of mind."
