CLARETS manager Steve Cotterill (right) will be guest of honour at this year's Christmas lights switch-on in Burnley town centre.
The Burnley FC boss will be joined by the club's mascots Bertie Bee and Bumble, a Del Boy lookalike, Santa, and the Mayor Coun Margaret Lishman and Mayoress Mrs Anne Kelly.
The event will be held on Thursday, November 18.
A packed programme of entertainment will start at 5.50pm at the bandstand, with singing and dancing by the Brunshaw Action Group and free samples of Bendictine -- Burnley's favourite tipple.
A firework display will finish off the evening.The lights switch-on happens a week before the start of late-night shopping on Thursdays in the town centre, with shops open until 9pm from November 25.
