LONGRIDGE residents were reeling from shock after the announcement one of the town's biggest employers was to close.
A total of 105 jobs would be lost when Crest Dairy closed in November.
The company placed the blame for the closure on the government's deregulation of the milk industry but Longridge councillor David Smith blasted Crest Dairy for its "shabby" treatment of employees.
