RAMSBOTTOM step up their quest for silverware tomorrow, with Consett the visitors for the First Round proper of the FA Vase.
League form goes out of the window as the two sides meet for this one-off match.
But the Rams are full of confidence after a 3-1 win over Atherton Collieries in midweek took them up to sixth place, which delighted boss Derek Egan.
"It was a strange game in midweek - very stop-start. But we stuck to our guns and came through in the end," he said.
"The main thing was getting back to winning ways to get the confidence back because it's easy to get out of a winning habit.
"There was never any doubt in terms of quality - we were far superior. But that doesn't guarantee you three points.
"It's nice to look forward to the FA Vase and, fingers crossed, we do ourselves justice.
"If we do that, then win, lose or draw, I will be happy because we've already gone a round further than we did last year."
He added: "Consett are midway in their league, which is the same league as Necastle Benfield, who we beat over two games in the last round.
"I know they're not particularly good travellers but it's all about what happens on the day.
"Being at home is as much as you can ask for."
The Rams will be without striker Daniel Stubberfield, who is cup tied, and Chris Skaratt who is unavailable, while both Ewan Purcell and Gareth Brooks are doubtful through injury.

"We have come across one or two teams in this league that really want to spoil, and we got that impression on Tuesday night.
"But we took our goals well, and it's always nice to score from different departments.

"We know what we are good at, we just need to get better at it.
"We've gone a round further than we did last year already, and we're going one step further than that.
"But at least, as things stand, we are making steady progress and if we can keep doing that over the next couple of years, I'll be happy.

"No-one gave us a prayer at Newcastle because they were flying, but we managed to get a draw and get them back to our place.
"We were down to 10 men when we took the lead, so it was a good game to win but it took a lot out of us."
Ex-Padiham striker Daniel Stubberfield is cup tied.
Ewan Purcell and Gareth Brooks are doubtful through injury while Chris Skaratt is unvailable.
