EAST Lancashire bank managers were warning customers about a new type of pen that could help forge legal documents.
Darwen's Midland Bank manager even sent out letters to his customers warning of the pen that could be rubbed out up to 24 hours after being used.
Manager Denis Evans said he was worried cheques could be tampered with after customers had signed them.
The Papermate Replay pen used ink that could be erased by any pencil rubber.
