MR Kaiserman (Letters, October 19) describes the BNP as being a racist organisation.

"Racist" has become a term used to try and intimidate people who question the very large numbers of people from overseas allowed to settle in this country. In any case, there are many other issues the BNP is concerned about.

For instance, we would like to re-introduce the death penalty, especially for terrorist murders and for paedophiles who murder children, as well as tougher punishments for other serious crimes.

We would bring back stronger discipline in our schools and more formal education, with the emphasis on the three Rs and British history and culture, ridding us of the PC influences in today's school curriculum.

Defence cuts would be cancelled and the armed forces properly equipped and strengthened to defend Britain and British interests. The British army would pull out of Iraq, as matters there are of no concern to this country.

As for UKIP, they are pseudo-patriots who use the excuse of coming out of Europe to promote left-wing ideas on immigration.
