JUST like neighbours Radcliffe Borough, Ramsbottom United had to postpone their game at the weekend, due to their Riverside pitch being waterlogged.

The Rams were due to play Consett AFC in the FA Vase, First Round.

The game will now go ahead on Tuesday night, provided the pitch is playable, kick-off 7.45pm.

As a result the league game at Skelmersdale United will now be re-scheduled.

In order to cover player unavailability manager Derek Egan has signed midfielder James Hoyle from Rossendale United, and striker Kelvin White.

l Rams have drawn away to Squires Gate in the first round of the Lancashire Marsden Trophy, to be played week commencing November 8. The Rams won there 1-0 in the league back in September

This Saturday Rams are home to Newcastle Town in the league.
