ACCRINGTON Stanley manager John Coleman is ready to shuffle his pack for Saturday's FA Cup showdown with Leigh RMI.
With Lee McEvilly sidelined through suspension after accumulating five bookings, and loan goalkeeper Carl Ikeme not permitted to play by Wolverhampton Wanderers, Coleman is ready to make at least two alterations to his line-up.
There are also injury doubts over captain Peter Cavanagh and defender Robbie Williams.
But Coleman hopes whoever comes in to replace the absentees will help his side bounce back from last weekend's 4-0 defeat at Scarborough.
"The players know what they've got to do. We had a meeting on Monday and watched a video of the game to highlight where we went wrong," he said.
"It was more an exercise to get the players to see things because I watched it first hand."
And the Reds chief responded to critics of the 4-5-1 formation he has operated for most of the season, despite last weekend's mauling.
"A lot has been said about us playing that system, especially at home. But it can quickly become 4-3-3 if you want it to be," he said.
"We haven't become a bad side. It's just that one or two bad decisions get highlighted when a team scores against you.
"I've definitely got faith with the system. It might be that we tinker with it but the basis is still there because Paul Mullin's the best target man in the business. I think if we were to put him on the transfer list tomorrow we would have 21 phonecalls from Conference sides.
"We've just got to start believing in what we are doing a bit more and maybe being a bit more alert defensively, and I include the whole team in that, not just the defence."
Coleman added that the tie with Leigh is a must-win game.
"It's a chance to get in with the big boys and maybe get on television again, that's where the real money is as regards to the club," he said.
"I'm still confident, and that's no disrespect to Leigh.
"I know I've got a good set of players. There are one or two carrying injuries so I might use the squad to the full this week."
Transfer-listed Lutel James is unlikely to come into the equation to replace McEvilly after already being contacted by six clubs, including Scarborough and Leigh RMI.
