LOWERHOUSE Bowling Green, Lowerhouse Lane, will be open as usual until further notice, weather permitting.
The cost is £1 for non members except for Sunday bowls drives, which start at 1pm, where an extra fee is charged.
The bowls presentation night is on Friday, November 5 and tickets are available from the bowling green.

ROSEGROVE Infants school, Owen Street, is to provide before and after school care for children age four-11 years in a new purpose-built building.
This was part funded by the Urban 2 grant money.

ROSEGROVE Action group trio Bernice, Joan and Maureen organized their latest trip to Blackpool Illuminations.
Seventeen ladies and George Hoyle, who attend the coffee mornings at the Action Group shop, also visited St Annes and Cleveleys before travelling through the lights.

This is part of a long standing church tradition where pens are presented, at the end of the month, to those who have celebrated a birthday that month.
