CAT and dog fur is being shipped into Britain on a record scale for use as trimming on clothes, hats and children's toys.
Undercover investigators in China and the Philippines report that cats, many of them pets, are rounded up, crammed into tiny cages and killed using the most barbaric methods. America, Italy, Sweden, Denmark, Greece and Australia have banned all such fur imports, but Britain hesitates.
Please write to: Mr Douglas Alexander MP, Minister of State for Trade and Investment and Foreign Affairs, Department of Trade and Industry, 1 Victoria Street, London SW1H 0ET asking for a ban.
