THIS letter is directed at the dog-owner who was in St. Mary's Park, Prestwich, on Thursday, October 21, and who took great delight in letting her huge chocolate-coloured doberman repeatedly run and jump up at me and my hysterical seven-year olddaughter.
I asked her several times to restrain her dog but she was seemingly unable to see what the problem was, and the dog eventually knocked me to the floor. Still she did nothing to restrain it.
I hope this woman is pleased with herself as she has scared my daughter to the point where she will no longer go to the park and is now more fearful of dogs.
I also feel her behaviour was cruel on the dog, which obviously thought all this was a game. I just hope the dog doesn't bite anyone in future and has to be destroyed, because then she will realise the stupidity of her actions
