A DOTTY Dalmation with a loving nature has been rescued from the busy streets of Hindley.
Now Sandra Pearson and her teenage children, Kirsti, 14 and Dean, aged 13, are hoping they can reunite the young, spotted bitch with its real owner.
Sandra's son, who is allergic to dogs, spotted the Dalmatian bounding up and down Argyle Street. The family feared for its safety and gave it a temporary home.
"Somebody must be missing her. She's a gorgeous dog and although she's a bit of a 'loon' she appears less than a year old is quite well trained. Her paws were sore so she could have travelled some distance," said Sandra.
The Pearsons have contacted police, RSPCA and Dog Wardens but say no dog answer the Dalmation's description has been reported missing. Anyone with information should call 07967 028659.
