BLACKBURN Hawks look to arrest a disappointing run of cup results when they travel to the Sheffield Arena for tonight's Premier Cup clash with the city's Scimitars.
In the last four games, all Premier Cup ties, the Hawks have lost out to teams from a higher league, going down to Telford, twice, Swindon and Solihull.
With Sheffield Scimitars, however, they face rivals from the English National League.
In addition, Bobby Haig's men are buoyed by the fact they have won already at Sheffield in this competition. Back in September, the Hawks, who used to regard the Scimitars as something of a bogey team, beat their Yorkshire rivals 4-2, with a brace from Wes Barnett and single strikes by Haig and Scott Barnett.
The match at Sheffield tonight faces off at 7.15 pm.
