A SELL-out cabaret dinner staged by Bury FC netted a fantastic £6,500.
More than 150 guests attended the event held at the town's Village Hotel. Entertainment was provided by The Ambassadors who took to the stage to present a Tribute to the Legends. This was the second year that the cabaret dinner had been held. Each November, the club hosts a special fund raising dinner in Manchester. Bury FC commercial manager Mr Peter Young said: "This extra fundraising event was put into our calendar last year. It was successful last year and even more so this year."
Representatives from different companies and supporters attended. The £6,500 was generated through ticket sales, a raffle and auction. Mr Young thanked everyone who helped to make the night a success.
