Dozens of forms have already been sent in by people nominating a wide range of staff for the local authority's annual Employee Achievement Awards but the closing date is next Friday Nov 5.
The awards were launched last year to recognise the outstanding achievements of council employees and their contribution to service improvements.
Anyone, including members of the public, councillors and other council staff can make nominations.
Mr Mark Sanders, the council's chief executive, said: "Council staff work hard to deliver quality services.
"These awards are our way of recognising outstanding achievement and acknowledging that hard work."
Nomination forms can be picked up from any council office, library or leisure centre: alternatively, people can nominate online at www.bury.gov.uk
