PREPARATIONS are under way for a Christmas Fair at St Paul's Church, Hoddlesden, later this month.
The event will take place on Saturday, November 27, between 11am and 2pm.
And this year, children will be given the opportunity to have their photograph taken with Father Christmas.
There will be stalls selling cakes, good-as-new gifts, home-made jams, marmalade and preservatives, as well as a 'guess the weight of the cake' competition and face-painting.
Children will also be kept entertained by games including Beat the Goalie, and netball.
Organisers are hoping more young people will come forward to help with the games.
