MORE than 300 workers at a Great Harwood crisp factory were told they would be given the push unless the people started munching more of the snacks.
Night shift workers at XL Crisps had already had their hours cut and bosses warned another 250 employees could get the chop. A factory spokesman said: "We don't know why trade has dropped. This is not an annual thing, it doesn't normally happen."
