FORMER EastEnders star Shaun Williamson will be opening Padiham's revamped Kwik Save store.
The actor, who played no-hoper Barry Evans in the BBC soap, will unveil the Burnley Road store's £500,000 new look on November 24 between 9am and 9.30am.
And while his character's business efforts may not have been the dazzling success for which he had hoped, Kwik Save think Shaun's presence will bring the crowds into the fresh, new shop.
Customers can quiz 'Barry' about life on the Square and in the real world before exploring the store which has been designed to look like a market street.
Store manager Mark Taylor said: "Our store is just one of the latest to undergo the Kwik Save regeneration process, aimed at giving stores across the country a more modern and fresh feel."
The store has been made lighter with wider aisles, there is a greengrocer section and delicatessen. Kwik Save is also employing an extra six staff.
