A YOUNG mum who only started playing bingo a year ago has hit the jackpot with a £27,000 win.
The winner, who has asked not to be named, scooped the prize at BJ's Club, Leigh, on October 25, and will share the bonanza with her mum, dad and former boyfriend.
She won a third share of the national bingo game prize which amounted to £26,666, plus a further regional prize of £1,014 and the club prize of £174 after completing a full house in 40 numbers.
The woman, who lives at home in Ashton with her parents, and has a daughter aged 15 months and another baby due in February, said she did not yet know how she would spend her share of the winnings.
