PLAYER-coach Tim Fourie believes he is beginning to make progress in his search for another second row for Sedgley Park.
"I'm speaking to a South African kid who played in this year's Currie Cup," he said
"At the moment he is being chased by two provincial sides for next season, while we are trying to get him over here for the rest of our season
"He has the size - 6ftb 8ins, 117kgs - experience playing for South Africa at under 19 and 21 levels, and pedigree.
"I have asked my contacts back home about him and they all say speak very highly of him.
"He ticks all the boxes, he has the size, he is good in the lineouts, the scrums, the mauls, he is a good ball carrier and he is both aggressive and robust.
"A lot of players underestimate the level we play at, and if he comes over I would like to think he would enjoy it that much he would stay with us."
