BARNOLDSWICK is recruiting landlubbers to help get the town shipshape for its fireworks and laser show on Sunday.
This year's show has a nautical theme, and Barnoldswick Community Arts Group is holding workshops for people to help build giant ship-shaped lanterns at Victory Park today and Saturday, from 10am to 1pm and 2pm to 5pm.
The show will feature laser lights, fire-breathing, story-telling, music, a funfair, food, and thousands of fireworks.
Town councillor David Whipp said: "We're really pushing the boat out this year, we'll even have our own lighthouse. We're inviting everyone to embark on a voyage of adventure at the display."
The event starts at 4.30pm. Entry is £4 for adults, and £2 for children.
