GREAT Harwood Town manager Dave Sharples has labelled tomorrow's League Challenge Cup tie as a must-win game.
The Robins entertain NWCL Division Two strugglers Castleton Gabriels in the first round desperate to progress in a bid to prompt an upturn in their league fortunes.
"This is a must-win game, and it doesn't matter if we are playing Castleton or Fleetwood, the lads have got to go into it with the right attitude," he said.
"If we think it's just a matter of turning up it will backfire on us."
Concentration will be the buzz word at the Showground tomorrow.
Sharples admits there is a steady improvement in his side's performances. But the Robins, who are bottom of NWCL Division One, are struggling to reap the rewards in terms of results.
"We've just been losing by the odd goal, by making silly errors and getting punished for them," he said.
"But the confidence is okay - the lads are upbeat. If they weren't I wouldn't be doing my job properly."
